In the highly competitive financial industry, remote deposit capture has emerged as one of the most important technology developments for financial institutions since Internet banking. As part of First Bank & Trust Company’s promise of service excellence, convenience, and security, we proudly introduce First Deposit. Our Remote Capture service provides business customers a way to make check deposits electronically without a trip to the bank. With First Deposit, you can capture images of checks received from your customers using a desktop scanner and transmit the images to us via a secure Internet connection. You, and your deposit, never leave your office and are credited to your business account the same day, just as if you had personally handed it to a teller! And, as an extra benefit, First Deposit allows you to make deposits up until 4:00 p.m. for same day credit.

Authorized business users access First Deposit through our Business Online Banking. Once checks are scanned, the images may be viewed for image quality and then submitted electronically to First Bank & Trust for processing. Take comfort in knowing that your deposits are transmitted through a 128-bit encrypted connection and firewall service. Sensitive data and images are never stored on your PC, but are available to retrieve from our secure server for up to 45 days.
